SPARK Space is a mobile sensory play and regulation space designed to provide children with a calm, inclusive environment during events, parties, and community gatherings.

What ages is SPARK Space designed for?

SPARK Space is best suited for children ages 2–12, but children of all ages and support needs are always welcome.

Is SPARK Space only for children with autism or sensory sensitivities?

Not at all! SPARK Space is designed for any child who may benefit from a calm, low-stimulation environment, movement breaks, sensory play, or emotional regulation support.

We attend:

Do you travel?

Yes! SPARK Space serves events throughout Northern Utah. Travel fees may apply depending on location.

How much space is needed for setup?

Space requirements vary depending on the package selected, but we typically recommend a flat area large enough for the sensory tent (10x20ft) and activity space. We’ll discuss setup needs during booking.

How long does setup take?

Most setups take approximately 60-90 minutes depending on the event package and accessibility of the location.

Do you offer indoor and outdoor setups?

Yes! We can accommodate both indoor and outdoor events.

Can the setup be customized for my event?

Absolutely. We can tailor sensory activities, colors, lighting, and equipment based on the needs of your event and attendees.

 

Safety + Supervision

Is SPARK Space a childcare service?

No. SPARK Space is not a childcare or drop-off service. Children must remain supervised by a parent, guardian, or designated adult at all times.

Are your materials cleaned and sanitized?

Yes! All sensory equipment and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized between events.

Is the sensory space wheelchair accessible?

Accessibility depends on the event venue and setup location, but we strive to create an inclusive and accessible environment whenever possible.

What if a child becomes overwhelmed?

SPARK Space is designed specifically to support regulation and sensory breaks. Parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising and supporting their child during the event.

 

Payments + Policies

How do I reserve my event date?

A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your date.

When is payment due?

• Booking deposit due at booking

• 50% due 7 days before the event

• Remaining balance due before setup begins

What is your cancellation policy?

The booking deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.

Do you offer refunds for weather-related cancellations?

Outdoor events impacted by severe weather may be rescheduled based on availability. Refunds are not guaranteed for weather-related cancellations.

 

Sensory Experience

What types of sensory activities are included?

Activities may include:

• Fiber optic lights

• Bubble tubes

• Sensory bins

• Tactile activities

• Movement seating

• Foam pits

• Calming lighting

• Sensory floor tiles

• Quiet regulation areas

Is the sensory tent overstimulating?

No. The environment is intentionally designed to feel calming, cozy, and supportive while still offering engaging sensory experiences.

Why are sensory-friendly spaces important at events?

Large events can sometimes feel overwhelming for children. Sensory-friendly spaces help children regulate, reset, and comfortably rejoin activities with their families and peers.
